For centuries, Palestinian farmers have cultivated the land, not just for survival, but as an act of identity, heritage, and resistance. From the olive groves of the West Bank to the citrus farms of Gaza, agriculture has been the backbone of Palestinian life. 🇵🇸🌾
Yet, decades of occupation, land confiscation, settler violence, water apartheid, and now the devastation following October 7th have put this lifeline under attack. One-third of Gaza’s greenhouses have been destroyed, thousands of olive trees uprooted, and farmland reduced to rubble.
But Palestinians do not give up. Farmers are rebuilding, replanting, and resisting. Every harvest is an act of defiance. Every tree planted is a commitment to the future. 🌱✊
