But as I watched this, I found myself very emotional. Teary. Grateful! Wanting to speak to that girl in the rehearsal room…letting her know what a legacy she was embarking on.
@thelionking is such a part of my history as a performer and a woman. #Nala taught me so much on and off the stage. And so, to be able to sing #Shadowland, surrounded by former cast members and lionesses, on THIS stage, with THIS group, on THIS night, for THIS celebration, is not lost on me. It’s more than I could imagine.
