This experience gave me a sense of honor that was distinct from the excitement I had felt throughout my career as a comedian. When I watched Chapel Lone perform on stage, I was deeply moved by the contrast between life’s limitless possibilities and the constraints imposed by society. It made me reflect deeply on what it means to truly live. I sincerely hope for a world where everyone can live authentically as themselves and for a society that respects and protects the rights of all artists who pursue and express their individuality. Lastly, I would like to express my deep respect to all the staff who carried out the ceremony with a strong sense of duty despite the Los Angeles fire.
