Hilarie Burton Instagram – Friday was FUN!!
Bloody Axe Wound was showing at our local @ncg_cinemas in Kingston at 9:30. And so Gus and I crossed the river and met a packed house of our friends to indulge in a little post-Christmas horror. And I can’t tell you how much it meant that people like Gus’s 2nd grade teacher @liz_yearwood and his tutor/my dear friend @susanhinkle17 and so many of the parents we’ve been doing drama and PTSO with came out. Love you @bwrecky @lettuceb0y @forloveandpickles @craigstjohn1 @gogovane @erinocf @oliviarosemichaels #patbogert and so nice to meet you @kevinmakely and @christi.classes !
The caravan of teenagers was large and it was fun for them to see other parents from school and members of the community in the film. I see @marebito in the school drop off line damn near every day! And @curreid is the cool older brother in our town that is going to school for film and had his first on-set job on this movie.
A special treat was introducing the kids – most of whom have done plays at @rbkcenter – to one of the actors in the movie @nycitytaylor – someone who came up through that theater.
I feel very lucky to have the kindest, most supportive, fun community surrounding me and my family. Honestly the best premiere I’ve ever been to. Thanks to all the cast and crew for coming out. You guys deserved that packed house!!!
