HIMARI Instagram – #announcement We are delighted to welcome Japanese violinist Himari for general management.

@himariviolin.official began her violin studies in Japan under the tutelage of Koichiro Harada and Machie Oguri and gave her professional orchestral solo debut at age 6. As one of the youngest ever applicants, she entered The Curtis Institute of Music in 2022 and studies violin with Ida Kavafian.

Managing Director Karen McDonald says: “Himari is a once in a generation talent and her bubbly personality is infectious. We are thrilled to welcome her to KD SCHMID.”

Himari says: “I am really excited to be joining KD SCHMID. I truly appreciate my teacher Ms. Ida and all who have been guiding me. I want to learn more repertoire and become an artist who can tell the wonderfulness of music to many people in the world through the violin that I love.”
