One of my favourite things to do is to put up the Christmas tree with ppl I love 🫶 It got a lil late this year cause I wasn’t feeling Christmassy enough , but isn’t that the beauty of festivals that no matter how you’re feeling … you push yourself to do it anyway and somewhere along the festive mood gets to you ♥️ Missed the usual Mumbaikars who were always a part of this celebration but this year everyone just decided to move to other city’s. After much contemplation … I think it’s post worthy ❣️ I ran my first marathon race and it was special . It was special because I decided to take on this challenge despite multiple injuries . 6 km’s may not be a big deal for many , but I feel running is more about mental strength than physical strength. While prepping for the race there were many times that one thought is it even worth it … no body cares and who’s watching and that’s exactly what I learnt . NO ONE CARES AND NO ONE IS WATCHING …. So do what you have to do for your own sake . CAUSE YOU ARE WATCHING … I ended better than I started , my finish time was approximately 54 minutes which I don’t think is bad . I had already achieved my best time on the last practice run , and was under the weather a night before the day of the run … despite having 20 reasons / obstacles to not go … going there and finishing the race was a great high . Also I took the Local train after some 15years… can’t say I’ll do that again soon , but next year for the 2026 race for sure .
