A day of celebration at ISB as Janvi Sikaria, from the founding class of our I-Venture Immersive (ivi) programme, took the stage on Shark Tank India on February 6. Along with her co-founders, Janvi presented her venture, Burger Bae. In a thrilling moment, they closed a 3-shark deal for ₹2 crore for 20% equity at a valuation of ₹10 crores from Kunal Bahl, Anupam Mittal, and Aman Gupta, an ISB alum. Dean Madan Pillutla and Professor Bhagwan Chowdhry, along with Janvi’s peers, were present to watch the episode as it aired, celebrating this milestone and congratulating her on this remarkable success. Burger Bae is an Instagram-driven, community-focused D2C clothing brand that caters to Gen-Z and millennials. With designs inspired by the latest trends, Burger Bae offers high-quality yet functional clothing, including co-ords, t-shirts, hoodies, and sweatshirts, all crafted with a commitment to Quality, Community, and Sustainability. ✨ Want to know why my younger self would be proud of me? ✨ Age 14 : battled clinical depression and panic disorder and failed 10th standard ✨ Age 19 : sought help and topped school in 12th standard ✨ Age 20 : started creating content and got a call from one of the biggest youth reality shows of the country ✨ Age 22 : completed UG, pursued PG in fashion business while dealing with a parent battling a chronic illness ✨ Age 23 : started building burger bae ✨ Age 24 : got into ISB and simultaneously completed first year of distance masters in psychology while juggling co-founder responsibilities. Oh also, got back into content creation after a 2 year hiatus and losing roughly 40K followers ✨ Age 25 (a month to go) : going to make it bigger and better because my only limit is the sky itself.
