Karyn Parsons Instagram – I still consider the day I met Quincy Jones to be one of my most exciting and anticipated moments. It must’ve been my third or fourth audition for the Fresh Prince of Bel Air. He was handsome and gracious with that magnificent smile. During the audition he’d laugh (he laughed!) and throw his head back, slam his hand into the table. Full laughs. I was so lucky to see much more of this. And I was so lucky to have been brought to tears of laughter by HIM. He was a serious man, but full of joy. His eyes twinkled.
I am honored to have worked alongside him, to have spent time with him, and I’m grateful that I walked the earth at the same time as this remarkable, beautiful man. My love and condolences to the entire Jones family.
