Keisha Lance Bottoms Instagram – My heart aches for the families and communities impacted by the tragic crash in Washington, DC. I flew into the same airport just hours before, as I have done countless other times. It is amongst the busiest air corridors in the nation. To hear the President of the United States and others stand in the White House Briefing room, as bodies are being pulled from the river, and blame the crash on alleged “DEI (diversity) hires”, made me sick to my stomach. There is no honor in disparaging anyone because of their race, culture, gender, identity, differences, or political affiliation, especially at a time like this.
