Y2K New Year’s Eve 1999 when the year was about to turn 2000 and everyone thought the world would end, the computers would crash and cell phones would stop working. I was in Miami dancing on a chair while Prince 1999 was playing talking to my sisters on my cell phone as the clock struck midnight! I even remember what I was wearing : a black tube top, a baby pink ballgown skirt and the highest of platforms which I was eventually carrying around and walking barefoot on the beach as I stumbled upon a Gypsy Kings show by the ocean.
