As Eye to the Telescope turns 20, I knew I wanted to celebrate in a very special way.
Over the years, folks all over the World have shared the most amazing stories with me of what these songs mean to them, so some major shindigs needed cooking up.
I had to kick things off in Scotland, and will be performing the album in full at the beautiful Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow on Thursday January 30th as part of the Celtic Connections celebrations, followed by a second raucous knees-up at the beloved @barrowland_ballroom on Friday January 31st, with both shows featuring @roddyhart and the Lonesome Fire as my band.
Then a few months later on June 23rd (my actual 5️⃣0️⃣th birthday 🎂🥳!!), I’ll perform the album one more time with a phenomenal line up of musicians, including my dear pal & wunderkind @andywburrows on drums at none other than the legendary @royalalberthall in London.
It’s gonna be A BLAST!!! 💥
