What an absolutely magical, love-filled (and slightly sleep-deprived) weekend it has been, celebrating Dillin and Manraj’s wedding! From the laughter to the happy tears, the dancing (some of which should probably never be repeated), and the incredible energy of family and friends—it was pure bliss! Thank you for letting me be a part of this beautiful, intimate celebration. Watching your two amazing families come together was nothing short of heartwarming (and slightly entertaining at times 😉). My heart is overflowing with joy for you both! Wishing you a lifetime of happiness, togetherness, epic adventures, spontaneous dance-offs, and, of course, making the most beautiful music together. A special shoutout to the hotel for making every function feel exclusive and magical—your love, care, and possibly psychic ability to know exactly what we needed (coconut water and more coconut water) made all the difference! And to the stunning beaches of Kovalam—thank you for the sun, the waves, and for reminding me that I should probably do more cardio before future weddings. I return home with my heart full, my soul nourished, and my feet still recovering from all that dancing. What a weekend of memories! I recently took Apples class mates on a little “educational adventure.” They were learning about rural education in class, and I had spoken to them about Teach For Change, but let’s be honest, half of them were nodding along politely while probably thinking about their next snack break. I could see they kind of got it, but not really. So, I had a lightbulb moment! Why just talk when I can show them? Off we went on a field trip to a local government school, where they got to see firsthand what education looks like outside their bubble of air-conditioned classrooms and digital boards. The goal? To help them realize just how privileged they are, because let’s face it, kids have the amazing talent of having everything and still finding something to complain about! Meanwhile, these government school kids, with a fraction of the resources, radiate joy, curiosity, and a deep appreciation for learning. And let me tell you, watching these private school kids slowly realize, “Wait… they don’t have an iPad lab?!” was chef’s kiss priceless. But jokes aside, it was beautiful. The kids connected, asked questions, and saw for themselves that while their worlds are different, they aren’t as far apart as they thought. For me, this day was a win. If even one of them went home and thought twice before complaining that their Wi-Fi is so slow today, I consider my job done!
