Laura Ramoso Instagram – It’s…over 🥹🥲 3 months, 24 cities, 30 something shows later…and the last leg of the Sit Up Straight tour is somehow behind us. I barely feel like these North American shows even happened, let alone the actual start of this tour with Australia back in the spring. 2024 feels like a fever dream…a wonderful crazy nuts insane amazing fever dream. NEVER in my WHOLE life could I have ever imagined touring in places like NYC, Portland, Austin, Vancouver…and selling out theatres with *my little show??? Sometimes I panic and wish so deeply that every moment, every sketch, every crowd work bit, every once-in-a-lifetime happy mistake, everything!!!! was filmed and recorded and logged so that I can never forget exactly what this was like. And then ultimately I think how cool it is that it can only exist in that one moment for that one specific audience and time. That’s what makes live performance so special, anyway.
I couldn’t have done this alone. Thank you to my incredible team, especially my good friend and stage manager @murrayseann – without whom I’d be…not alive. And thank you to all of you who came, thank you for supporting me, thank you so much for being a part of this with me, and thank you most of all to the front rows of the world for letting me pick on you.
