“We had ten different voices that we worked on when we were mixing this record. They were all my voice, but we treated them all differently,” Laurie tells author and journalist Jonathan Cott in a conversation about her new album, ‘Amelia.’ “And we had slightly different processing for them, very slightly, except for the radio ones that are coming from a different place.
