Ingredients:
For the filling:
200g paneer (cottage cheese), crumbled or cut into small cubes
1 small onion, chopped
1 small capsicum (any color), chopped
Cheese cubes
1 tbsp Orika peri-peri seasoning (adjust as per spice level)
2 tbsp hung curd for a healthy twist
1 tbsp olive oil or butter
For the sandwich:
6 slices of bread (whole wheat or multigrain for a healthier option)
Butter for spreading
Instructions:
Step 1: Prepare the Filling
Heat 1 tbsp olive oil or butter in a pan.
Sauté the chopped onion and capsicum until slightly soft.
Add crumbled paneer to the pan. Mix well.
Sprinkle Orika’s peri-peri seasoning and salt. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
Step 2: Assemble the Sandwich
Take a slice of bread and spread butter on one side.
Spread the prepared paneer peri-peri filling evenly on the unbuttered side.
Place another bread slice on top.
Step 3: Toast or Grill
Heat a grill pan, toaster, or tawa.
Apply butter on the outer sides of the sandwich.
Toast/grill the sandwich until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
Step 4: Serve
