So, this Christmas was a little different—no trees, no gifts, no family dinners. Instead, it was all about techno, my other love. The love introduced to me by someone who’s no longer around, but hey, the beat goes on. 🤍 While the world was unwrapping presents and taking family photos, I unwrapped something else: pure joy, dancing the night away to Artbat in Mumbai. @indiaartfair 2025, held from Feb 6-9 at the NSIC Exhibition Grounds, New Delhi, was nothing short of spectacular—bigger, bolder, and packed with incredible talent. With 118 exhibitors, 78 galleries, and top art institutions, this year’s edition was the biggest one yet! One of the absolute highlights for me was a private preview hosted by @jaikhanna_krishnavilas and his brother @artprojects.108 who owns the gallery. Getting to experience their latest pieces up close was phenomenal. Jai’s work is all about giving a fresh, contemporary spin to the 400-year-old art of Pichwais and Miniatures, and it was amazing to see how he’s reinterpreting tradition in such a modern way. ✨🤍 Another standout moment? Meeting @goma_official , a brilliant Japanese artist from Tokyo, whose work was also showcased at the fair. His pieces have such a unique energy—it was inspiring to see him bring his artistic/ near-death experience vision to India by @galerie.geekart @arjyx. 🤍✨ Beyond the art, what really made this fair special was the chance to meet and connect with both Indian and international artists—some whose work I’ve admired for years and others who were exciting new discoveries.✨ I’ll be sharing details of these galleries, brands, and artists, so you can check out their pages, explore their work, and stay updated on what they’re creating next. Dear 2024, before I let you go, there’s someone I absolutely need to thank—ME. For taking care of me when no one else did. For cheering me on when no one clapped. For taking myself to places (sometimes in pajamas, but hey, I showed up). For loving me through the chaos, the tears, the late-night parties, and the early-morning flights. “Last night at the Architecture & Design Film Festival Premiere Night was such an experience! Walking through all the installations by different artists felt like stepping into their creative worlds—each one had its own story to tell, and I loved every bit of it. Coming from a movie background and now working as an interior styling, it hit me how cinema, design, and architecture might seem totally different but are so connected. They’re all about telling stories, creating emotions, and building experiences. It’s crazy how they go hand in hand, and I felt that connection so deeply last night. It’s that time of the year again—art season. But what is art, really? To me, art is a portal. A way to see the world through someone else’s eyes, to feel something unexpected, to find hidden parts of myself in a brushstroke, in a story told without words. ✨ For the past few years, I’ve had the honor of exploring Art Bombay, Art Dubai, Paris, and Art Delhi—and every time, it’s like stepping into a new dimension. A world so full of beauty, of emotion, of meaning… and yet, it’s never enough. I always leave wanting more. And now, it’s time again—on the 6th of February, I’m heading to Art Delhi. Three days of exploring, meeting incredible artists, reconnecting with old friends, and soaking in every bit of inspiration I can. Thomas Merton said “ Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time.” Because that’s exactly what art does—it moves us, transforms us, and reminds us that there’s more to life than what meets the eye. And honestly… what would life even be without art? ✨
