Mary Lambert Instagram – Holy shit I loved this tour so much. @heatherondrums is an absolute wizard and one of my favorite people to be in a van for 12 hours with talking humanity and metronomes, @jennyzigrino made me laugh cry and gave me one of the best tarot readings I’ve ever had, @pay.dirt00 enhanced my merch sales 300% with the worlds cutest face and reminded me to (literally) touch grass. I had the most amazing time onstage with deaf performer @razzledazzlequeen for my Seattle encore (hope I get to work with her again!!), and I stopped by to visit and sing with my 97 year-old grandma Mary (I’m Mary the 4th 😮) in Idaho. I routed this tour myself and gave myself more space and time between shows, since tour can be so rough on the body & spirit sometimes. I made less money than I normally would and did have to do some late night drives, but man, was it worth it. I had so much fun! I asked for and accepted help! I had some of the best conversations! I ate the best pea soup! I just re-fell in love with music and touring on this run. I’m so excited to get back out there and share all of the music I’ve been working on with you!
