Maya Stojan Instagram – Looking back on this shoot from less than six months ago, I had no idea I was already carrying my second baby boy. I also couldn’t have known that my father would pass away just a couple of weeks later. The events of September 5th, 2024, are etched deeply in my heart; saying goodbye to my dad over FaceTime, discovering I was pregnant within minutes, and then receiving the bittersweet call just hours later that he had passed. It felt as if one life had made space for another. The imprint of that day will stay with me forever.
Grief and gratitude walked hand in hand in that moment, teaching me that even in the hardest times, there is space for love, meaning, and something greater than ourselves. That day also gave me the courage to finally create my own digital course on gratitude—coming soon!
