(Khare- pure/genuine) I may or may not be as wonderful as Vidhu Sir says, but I believe him. Every time the world plays its game of pretense, pleasing and pressure, I remind myself of his words and refuse to give in. While promoting ‘Zero Se Restart’, a journalist asked Vidhu Sir- “What do you care about most? – Box office numbers, Critics’ reviews or the love of audiences” Sir slowly took 3 steps towards the journalist and said- “The only thing I care about is whether *I AM* satisfied with what I’ve made! If I’m happy, nothing else matters” Everyone was amazed by the answer. I think just like me, they all needed to hear that. Hear from a genius that it’s not about pleasing others or seeking external validation. It’s about making the 17 year old you proud. The kid who saw this dream with nothing but purity, innocence and goodness. And I believe, the whole game of life is to learn how to retain that child like innocence and honesty despite the pressures of the world.
