Mickey Guyton Instagram – GRAMMY-nominated country music star, Mickey Guyton, opened the show for the 2024 Red Dress Collection Concert in New York City. The country trailblazer wore Sergio Hudson on the red carpet and Monetre on the runway. Wearing custom RC Caylan for her performance, she opened with “My Side of Country,” and performed hits “Something About You,” “Make It Me,” and “Flowers.”
Every year, the Red Dress Collection Concert builds on the iconic tradition of the Red Dress Collection fashion show founded by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute’s The Heart Truth® program, adding musical performances and personal stories of those affected by heart disease and stroke.
Cardiovascular disease is the No. 1 killer of women with black women disproportionately impacted. But through awareness of family history, and lifestyle changes like eating better and moving more, some cases can be prevented.
