Hey Singles .. I know. I feel you. No heart shaped chocolate for us. Or overpriced dinner menu. No sexy lingerie or picking us up for a surprise date. For us it’s probably another night of Netflix and canceling tomorrow’s gym ( that’s probably just me). For the singles Valentine can make us feel more alone and ashamed ..Another year with no great plans, again. I feel it.. but I also know the other side of Shame- LOVE. This week I told my therapist that I’m ok I love myself a 7 and she asked me why don’t you love yourself a 10?? Why don’t I ? My self love journey has ups and downs but I know loving myself a ten will change my life and I want the same for you. I hope tonight you chose to love yourself. When I decided to become a mother , I chose myself and we are now going 2.5 years steady and strong .It’s not the relationship i thought id have – I’m the driver, the chef,I lift, carry, take out the trash,initiate and remember every birthday and I repeat myself over and over again like I’m talking to a child… and pay for everything. Never thought this is how it will go – and deeply grateful it went exactly like this !! I wish and hope the same for you. Remember on their other side of shame, there is Love. Shabbat is my favorite day of the week. It starts on Friday when the sun comes down and ends on Saturday with the appearance of three stars . 🌟 ⭐️ 💫 It’s a day of rest for the racing mind. It’s a day to stop and ask of ourselves to be kind with others and with ourselves. It’s a day to be with our loved ones, pray and thank. I chose to spend this first Shabbat series with Silvia, a mother that BOTH her sons David and Ariel are held hostages by Hamas for 393 Days and 55 Shabbats On this Shabbat I ask you to join us in prayer for their return and for the return of 101 hostages. This last week was one of the most devastating days in LA’s history. A place I’ve build a home, a community and achieved my dreams. LA is both glamorous and spiritual. It’s both vanity and healing and growth and most of all it has shown its bravery and unity to help thy neighbor. I am extremely grateful for the miracle that graced our home and heartbroken for those who have lost their and their loved ones. I’m grateful for the fire fighters that through unimaginable conditions chose to go right into and even pick up people personal belongings. The humanity has restored a bit of the shattered heart we have been carrying since October 7th and I pray and hope this will begin a new era of healing and peace that we desperately need. I pray that ALL our hostages will return where they belong. Back HOME. We are waiting for all of them. We love each one and can’t wait for their return and start our recovery and feel safe and free at last. Shabbat Shalom. לוס אנגלס, מקום שבו בניתי בית, קהילה והגשמתי חלומות עברה את האסון הכי גדול בהיסטוריה. זה מקום שכולו גלאם וגם מקום שכולו רוחניות,שיקום וטיפול לנפש. זה המקום הכי שטחי בעולם וגם במקום בו אנשים מגיעים להירפא. והאסון הזה האיר את האנושיות והלב המרוסק מהשבעה באוקטובר ראה אנושיות, קצת אור של קהילה שעוזרת לשכניה. אני מודה לצוותי החילוץ והכבאים שהבית שלנו ניצל. נס גדול היה לנו. ואני מודה למאות הפניות והדאגה המחממת לב של כל מי שהתקשר וכתב לנו. תודה 🙏🏾 וליבי עם מאות אלפי האנשים שאיבדו בית ובני משפחה. אני מתפללת שהתקופה השחורה הזאת תסתיים באור גדול עם חזרתם של החטופים, למקום שלהם- לבית. אני מחכה לכל אחת ואחד. אני אוהבת כל אחד ואחת ומאחלת לנו נחת. סוף כל סוף נחת בבית שלנו בארץ ובעולם. שנהיה עם חופשי בארצו ובכל מקום. אמן אמן אמן. שבת שלום.
