A day all who loved Abu are deeply grateful for!
Today one of the kindest, sweetest, funnest, funniest, most beautiful souls in the world was born.
Aba was a one of a kind husband. His love story with @nusciejamil is legendary. She was the centre of his universe, his Sun. He was a fantastic father, a loving brother, a doting son, caring Uncle, loved employer, great friend & spectacular human being.
Aba loved all things beautiful. He loved beautiful moon lit nights, good music of any kind, poetry, literature, movies, dogs, birds, his couch, his fig & mango trees. He was a gentle, romantic man, & a deeply practicing Sufi, who sensed the Divne in everything & who loved to find humour & joy everywhere.
He taught us to love deeply, to enjoy & pursue knowledge & develop a refined taste for anything & everything…to laugh easily, not take ourselves to seriously & to forgive & forget for one’s ease of mind.
He loved life but was so calm, fearless & ready to meet his maker, when he was leaving, solid in the knowledge that he had never wronged a living being, & certain in his Love for Allah.
Aba surrendered to his Faith with complete Tawakul.
He told me that if I was regular in prayer & meditation, after his death, I would be able to meet him at a spiritual plane, beyond the mere physical, & Alhamdolillah it is true. I know today Bhai @ofj2101 & I learn from him & sense him at a whole other level.
Abu is the calm in my heart. I often feel his smile deep within my soul. His blood, genetic memory, DNA, his wisdom courses through me beyond even a cellular level.
There is not a moment in my day that I don’t thank Allah for the miraculous gift of a father like you @jaliljamil
I miss your hugs & the look on your face whenever I entered a room, but I’m so blessed with what you leave us with & who you were & still are for me.
