Nicky Whelan Instagram – Yesterday, this good boy named Hoss was surrendered to the shelter by his owners, who could no longer afford the cost of treating his broken leg. Tragically, he was scheduled to be euthanized this morning. However, thanks to the vigilance and compassion of @rita_earl_blackwell, who shared his story, and the swift action of @rhearrats from @spiritofanimalsrescue, Hoss was saved just in time.
Late last night, he was rushed to the dedicated team at Mission Veterinary Hospital, where he now awaits a complex and costly surgical procedure. This is a challenging case, but one that we are determined to see through.
