Together we will engage with vignettes from the in-progress film work and installation celebrating Audre Lorde, “Black Lesbian Mother Warrior Poet.” Attendees will have the unique opportunity to ask questions and share feedback on the early edits. ⁠

Numa Perrier is an Haitian American creator, actress, and filmmaker. She explores themes of Black womanhood, identity structures, ritual, and family dynamics. Her work — including JEZEBEL, which screened at the 2019 BlackStar Film Festival — is personal and intimate, drawing from both memory and imagination. Her full body of work straddles the art world and mainstream media. ⁠
