Rashida Tlaib Instagram – Medical bills are now prohibited from appearing on your credit reports. This is relief for 15 million families who have lost economic opportunities solely because they got sick and could not afford the health care costs.
Under the leadership of Director Chopra of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, this new rule will remove $49 billion in medical debt from the credit reports. This means lenders will no longer be able to take that into consideration when deciding whether to issue a loan.
