Mars has changed my life and everyone else’s in the household. We all gravitate towards him. When you walk through the door and you get that totally unfiltered happiness and joy through your dog, it’s the best feeling in the world. I don’t think anyone is ever that happy to see you, even if you’ve just left for five minutes or five days. We also spent a lot of time together during the pandemic. And I’m very hands-on with my pets. Since a very young age, I’ve been taught to give them a bath or walk them because my dad always used to tell us that if you want a dog, you have to look after it. So I look after Mars like he’s my little baby, and that has definitely strengthened our bond.
