Sharna Burgess Instagram – Holy crap is 2025.. why is that so wild to type?
2024 was one heck of a year on planet earth and I say that because I know EVERYONE is going through something. Remember as you watch these round up reels they are simply a highlight reel. Everyone’s best moments selected. I can do one too and make it seem like my 2024 was the greatest year ever. But to be honest the moments that shaped me and changed me and stay with me forever aren’t photographed or filmed. They were lived and felt. Transparently… I spent many a day crying in my car in a parking lot, I spent many nights awake with my brain in overdrive, I spent many a day feeling numb and my brain flat lining where getting a task done seemed impossible. I also spent countless days laughing, loving, getting swept up in the truth of my life and story and feeling gratitude for all I have. Cried with joy, been excited about the future and done new things that scare me. It’s all in the balance, in the welcoming the entire gambit of experiences and emotions because without one, you do not appreciate the other.
Last night i closed out the year saying thank you for all of those experiences. I can’t wait to see what 2025 has for me, and for my family. I hope your 2025 brings you everything you need, and a healthy chunk of everything you want. I hope in 2025 we can all strive for more kindness, more openness and acceptance, more coming together despite differences. Human kind needs to be just that… kind.
