Sue Duminy Instagram – All the honour and credit to @sands_aesthetics for healthy skin.. my skin has always been my biggest and my most vulnerable challenge.. I struggled with bad acne when I was younger and was left with bad marks, big pores, fine lines and wrinkles.. I would NEVER leave the house without make-up. It became a mental challenge which would later then dictate my life. So when I speak about skin, I not only speak about “skin”, I speak about all those layers of feeling “ugly”, “not good enough”, “not pretty enough”.. these are real things us women struggle with everyday.. Our skin is the first thing people see when they meet us/engage with us.. therefor it’s an important part of our confidence and self-worth..
I started investing in my skin and got to the opportunity to take hands with @sands_aesthetics and through a skin journey, (and a journey of self-love and acceptance for who I am) I’ve managed to rip these layers off.. my skin is not 100% flawless, I don’t want it to be, and it never will be.. but sometimes a little Alma Hybrid magic and the acceptance of who we are makes this invisible burden a lot lighter.. 🙏💫 | Posted on 06/Feb/2025 12:35:44
