Trista Sutter Instagram – It was 2005 and Ryan and I hadn’t even been married for 2 years. We were happily living in Vail and I got a call from an ABC executive about a new reality competition show that she wanted me to be part of.
It was popular in Europe, she told me.
It was all about dancing, she told me.
It was going to be a big hit, she told me…because she believed it to be true.
And she was right!!! Almost 20 years later and I’m still watching!
I may have been the first person ever booted off the @dancingwiththestars stage, but even though I was only there for a tiny amount of time, I am grateful to be a tiny part of this iconic show. ✨
