Reunited. My dear friend @uzoaduba – how I have missed you. See the little hands clinging to our bodies, outside the frame of this photo is real life. How we have grown, how we have changed, we are both mothers now and the things we loved in each other have deepened. And that is the fruit of a long friendship. For your beautiful baby to reach out to me for a cuddle was the very best gift of the first day of this new year. All I know for sure is that love and connection are at the centre of it all, now are forever that is my wish for us all. ❤️

After a big week of being serious I played dress ups to celebrate the premier of The Correspondent. Thank you to the amazing @van_q_shop who dressed me from head to toe. Vhutali Nelwamondo 1989-2025 Our hearts are broken to have lost dear Vhutali on the 13th of January. What a deeply loving, kind, joyful soul. I am so grateful to have known you – and grateful to the AIME gift of unlikely connections that allowed me to be in your presence over the last decade. My deepest love and respect to Vhutali’s friends and family who are mourning such a profound loss. My love to the AIME team who I know will be holding Vhutali’s light as the journey continues. Let’s love each other, let’s find kindness, strength and a heap of joy.

Heading into Parliament House for Hi Neighbour’s meeting with Minister for Skills and Training Hon. Andrew Giles to talk about how government can support the critical work we are doing up-skilling locals to be part of a robust and inclusive clean energy workforce. In light of the exciting announcements about Future Made In Australia we certainly hope the government values our contribution as this work is set to ramp up in a big way!
