Amy Bailey Instagram – Calling all VIKING fans! Once in a lifetime opportunity to meet the marvellous Linus Roache aka KING ECBERT at @texasvikingfestival in December. Linus is such a brilliant person inside and out. I was new to big series television when I joined Vikings and felt in a lot of ways like I was thrown in the deep end. My very first scene was with Linus where my character, um, almost gave him heart failure …I’ll say no more 😅. He could not have been more gracious and gentlemanly about it. I learned a tremendous amount over the next few seasons just watching him work: he’s the perfect blend of timing, intuition, and sleek professionalism. As an actor it was a gift to work with him, as a friend it is a treasure to know him.
