Beverly Joubert Instagram – We’ve spent countless hours basking in the radiant glow that envelopes so many afternoons in Africa’s wild spaces. Some of these special moments were shared with big cats like Legadema who we watched grow from a curious cub into an accomplished huntress, others were spent simply sitting in silent observance, admiring nature’s design and acknowledging our unassailable connection to the ebb and flow of the natural world. One thing is clear in these reflective moments: when ecosystems are disrupted and biodiversity is threatened it impacts all of us. ⁣

This #WorldWildlifeDay – a day on which @DereckJoubert also celebrates his birthday – we are reminded once again of the importance of protecting our planet—a challenge that we have dedicated our lives to. Although we have enjoyed many successes, the monumental task of conserving our wildlife and natural spaces for future generations is not yet done.⁣

This year, we’re drawing special attention to the protection of big cats⁣. To help raise funds for these imperilled felines, I am offering six limited-edition fine art prints to support the @GreatPlainsFoundation’s Big Cats Initiative (BCI) – a program Dereck and I founded over a decade ago to fund projects that protect these predators and the ecosystems they call home.⁣
