Camryn Manheim Instagram – Opening Night of Little Shop of Horrors was f&@$ing AMAZING.
Bravo to the new cast members @lizgillz @jeremykushnier and @milomanheim. I can’t begin to tell you how brilliant they all were. The heart, the soul, the physical comedy was incredible. The audience went bananas. It is a perfect musical, gorgeously directed by @michaelmayerdir and effortlessly executed by the entire cast including Reg Rogers, Teddy and the other puppeteers, the urchins and the sublime Major Attaway. It’s such a gifted cast and so incredibly joyful to watch.
And as a sidenote, I started my career working with Michael Mayer. We did 7 plays together when I got out of graduate school. It was on his wings that I learned to fly. Now, my son is being lifted off the ground by Michael. It’s a full circle moment for me and my heart is so full. ❤️
