a little (D-Day) bday breakdown from earlier this month! 1. I got an early start the day before picked up my @vegantreats cake and a lil snack a gift from my family @redbamboonyc 2. Kicked off the day with brunch with my (non-vegan) grandparents and a guitar solo phone call all the way from Mississippi from my Grandad Will 🫶🏽 (kept one of my traditions going and had my vegan green eggs and ham) 3. Went skating, got cards, and lots of birthday wishes!

Y’ALL know it’s your girl @keke just released her second book Master Of Me which is a memoir in which she shares details from all aspects of her life as a multi-hyphenate renaissance woman. She’s not just Keke the performer, she’s Keke the human being. She’s Keke the mother. She’s Keke the award winning actress who broke through the glass ceilings and effortlessly continued to evolve. I grew up watching Keke Palmer and had the opportunity of meeting her when I was 12 at her Broadway debut as Cinderella she offered me the kindest advice and words of encouragement for my career as a child actress and mini entrepreneur. She was and is beyond influential she to me. Even to this day, because if there was no KeKe Palmer, there would be no me, she paved the way for so many black girls and women in the acting world, music industry, entertainment space, and beyond. She’s constantly pushing the boundaries and changing the way we think about entertainment. I love you Keke, thank you for always being real and unapologetically you!

today we’re at @SuteshiNYC to try @OshiSeafood ‘s chef special plant-based salmon roll 🍣 it’s a one-of-a-kind indescribable culinary experience that’s completely vegan and packed with flavor.
