Eliza Bennett Instagram – I was a little quieter on here this year and this was for a few reasons but mainly because I had a little smoosh. Surprise!! I didn’t feel the pull to share my pregnancy or birth on social media but as we draw close to the end of the year, I put this video together and felt the urge to share. It’s a perfect lil snippet of some treasured moments from 2024.
It’s a wild thing having a child. In some ways pregnancy and birth can seem almost mundane, so many women have babies, so many women I love have had babies. And then I did it myself. And boy, I will never look at these women the same way. I couldn’t believe how hard it was, how hard it is. My birth was not my ideal situation, 40 hours long and ending in an emergency C section left me in shock for a while. It was hard. The hardest thing I’ve ever done. And now I’m not sure I’ll ever get over the fact women do this, this primal physical sacrifice of their body all the time. Truly awe inspiring what women are capable of. ANYWAY, that was a long convoluted way of saying I had a baby and here’s a cute video. She really is so squishy and cute and I’m a big fan. | Posted on 26/Nov/2024 00:27:04
