Funke Akindele Instagram – A Song, A Room, A Reminder…
Years ago, I walked into a music audition, my heart pounding, palms sweaty. My song choice? I Just Can’t Give Up Now by Mary Mary. That day, I sang my heart out, hoping that song would carry me into my dreams.
Fast forward to yesterday. I walked into a different kind of room, the Creative Blueprint Masterclass by @funkejenifaakindele . A room filled with women I deeply admire. A room where I saw my own reflection, in music, content creation, wealth building, fashion.
And then it happened.

I froze. My mind travelled back to that audition room years ago. Was this a coincidence? No. This was a reminder!

Tears welled up in my eyes, not just because of the song, but because of what that moment represented. For so long, I’ve struggled with, inconsistency, doubt, imposter syndrome, fear. Am I good enough? Will anyone listen? Is my content worth it?
But sitting in that room, listening to Funke share her story, her raw, unfiltered truth, haaa, it hit me:

💡 People may doubt you, but keep working.
💡 You will question yourself, but don’t stop.
And that’s exactly what I needed to hear.
What made it even more profound? Funke’s attention to detail. She knew everything happening in that room, ensuring everyone got a gift, making sure no one was left out. That’s not just influence, that’s leadership. That’s impact. That’s legacy.
This isn’t just a masterclass for me; it’s a turning point. I’m leaving behind doubt and stepping fully into my music, my content, my fashion, my purpose.
