I was so lucky to be able to shoot a large part of @teenwolf at home where I have lived since college. The strain that shooting out of town has put on the lack of jobs here- it forces people to move and join other local unions. The actors carry two rents during filming with relocation fees not covering costs. Actors on the cast that aren’t making movie star rates… this job is glamorous and privileged. It’s also so many other things- the majority of this business is working actors and working crew.
Let us come home and put money back into a state that provides 80% of agriculture and leads in tech for this country. Hollywood needs to come home ❤️🩹
This falls on California’s government.
