Iskra Lawrence Instagram – I get nervous to share my big wins, maybe it’s the imposter syndrome or maybe it’s the fear it won’t be relatable? But the thing is I failed too (a lot) I got told no for the first 10 years of my career, was laughed at for sharing my dreams and I’ve been very very close to giving up.
If I didn’t stop believing in myself
If I didn’t get back up after every failure
If I didn’t take risks even when everyone told me not to
If I didn’t trust in my team (because they are far better at what they do than I am)
If I didn’t have my family to motivate me and remind me everyday of my why
If I didn’t say yes to opportunity and no when I needed to set boundaries
If I didn’t let my own self doubt overshadow my hope
If I didn’t choose recovery from my ED and BD
If I didn’t download this app and pour my heart and soul into this community
I wouldn’t be here.
