We usually go on a trip or at the very least have a fancy dinner date, but this year we are sleep training two babies and I didn’t want to leave them at all so we didn’t plan anything special.
Yesterday I woke up to Doug bringing me in a BEAUTIFUL bouquet of flowers (that he bought the night before from the grocery store).💐☺️
Then after I put the twins down in their cribs I came out to our daughter telling us she has a surprise for us & to close our eyes!🫣
She drew a map on that notebook she’s carrying of all the “stations” she made for us to celebrate our anniversary!🥹🥹🥹
There was a snack station (of course!😜), a dance station with a little old school boom box, a card/game playing station, a drawing station and even a babies play/change station.🥺🙏❤️
We spent the whole day eating snacks, playing games & lounging together.☺️
When I signed up to be married at first sight 11 years ago, THIS is exactly what I was hoping for.🙏 True love and true family. It’s all I ever wanted.
Literally crying writing this caption – I’m just so thankful!😌(postpartum hormones are something even 6 months later)!🤪
We didn’t plan anything special, yet this was one of the most special anniversaries we’ve ever had.💯🙏🥰

There is absolutely no other way I would’ve wanted to spend our 11 year anniversary than in my pajamas with our babies all day.🥰🥰🥰
