Jamie Otis Instagram – Im so conflicted on whether to sleep train the twinnies at 6 mo or wait a bit longer? I’ve never sleep trained before 1 before. Curious if you have, what was your experience?
This morning I woke up with my hubby, our daughter, son, twins & dog in our room… EVERYONE was in our bed at the same time at one point.🤪🤣
That’s 6 people and a dog in one bed.🫣😆
I’ve never sleep trained a baby before 1 year old ….but I’ve GOT to get some sleep!🙏
I think about how they say the biggest blessing with sleep training is it helps your baby learn to self-soothe…but then others say a baby should be able to rely on their mom for soothing. And I just get so conflicted.🙃
Right now the twins wakes up just to get breastfed back to sleep. It’s all they want. I know they aren’t hungry – have ya seen my twin baby boys?! They’re BIG boys!😆❤️
I used to do this with Hendrix and it didn’t really bother me bc he was just one baby. But now I have two at the same time & I just never sleep!🤪😴
My in laws come to visit this weekend (Bonnie meets the twins for the first time and we’re so excited!!) I don’t want to sleep train the babies before then, but I think after they leave we are going to start sleep training the twins.
They’ll be about 6 months old – that’s 6 months earlier than I’ve ever done it but I think I just have to try.🙏

Getting the four year old big bro to stay in his bed is a whole different ball game!😆 We were there but then he regressed when the twins came and my heart knew he needed the extra cuddles so we’ve let him. I’ve been judged hardcore by some women but it’s so hard to know the exact best thing to do! Parenting doesn’t come with a guide book!🤪
