Today, I Introduce to you, Her STEAM Initiative: Empowering Girls, Shaping Futures, Transforming Communities.
I am beyond excited to officially introduce Her STEAM Initiative, a movement close to my heart that is dedicated to equipping and inspiring young women and girls in West Africa to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) powered by The Juliet Ibrahim Foundation.
This journey began with a vision—to bridge the gender gap in STEAM fields and empower young minds with the skills and confidence to lead in innovation. Having witnessed firsthand the challenges that many young African women face in accessing quality education and career opportunities in these fields, I knew it was time to take action.
Her STEAM Initiative will offer mentorship, hands-on learning experiences, and community-driven programs to cultivate talent and passion for STEAM disciplines. Together, we can build a future where more women are leading in technology, engineering, the arts, and beyond!
