Kelly Overton Instagram – I’ve been thinking about how we have this belief that conflict, rupture and sorrow are obstacles that should be avoided when really they are essential parts of growth and connection. Not only do we need them, we have no choice really as they are intrinsically a part of each other, like night & day. Perhaps what needs to change are our assumptions that they are negative and to be avoided. What if we start to reframe how we see them and think about them? What if we saw conflict, rupture and sorrow as gateways, what if they even drive us into deep connection and joy.
