Laura McGoldrick Instagram – Amazing things happen when women come together!
Last week we were stoked to hang out with UNICEF Aotearoa ambassador, @lauramcgoldrick13 , as well as some amazing wāhine for our International Women’s Day event in collab with @unwomennz .
The theme for the event was Expanding Horizons: A Global Conversation on Women’s Progress, Opportunity & Equality, and Laura hosted a panel discussion that was top-notch!
The vibes were super high and here she reflects on this theme of ‘Expanding Horizons’.
Every step towards equity and empowerment for women and young girls in Aotearoa contributes to a worldwide movement. We were the first to grant women the vote, and we have to keep leading with that legacy!
