Louisa directed and wrote the incredible @sisterwivesfilm (featuring @mia_mbruce) which was longlisted for The Oscars, BAFTAs and BIFAs after taking home the Grand Prix and ‘Best Direction’ win at the @kinsalesharkawards Awards this year.
Last year Sister Wives was the 3rd highest rated film globally on @letterboxd‘s ‘Year In Review’ and smashed the festival circuit, winning ‘Best Direction’ at @britishshortfilmawards, @hollyshorts, and the @irisprize for Best British Film.
Her work focuses on complex and often dark narratives that are brought to life with nuanced performances and beautiful cinematography. We’ll be posting more of Louisa’s work over the next couple of weeks so keep an eye out for more 👀
