I have a little message to share with you today; and though it’s a long read, I do hope you make it to the end of the post.
Social media isn’t an easy place for women to exist—especially creatives. We’re scrutinized more than most, judged constantly. We’re told we’re too much, then not enough. It’s exhausting. And for me, some days, it takes a real toll on my mental health.
For years, I’ve been vilified in the media for not conforming, and it hasn’t always been easy to stay true to myself through it all. But I attribute a lot of my success to one thing—being unapologetically me.
Today, I want to say this: be kinder to us. The truth is, we fight back because we always feel under attack. We go through things we can’t always speak on. Respect, boundaries, and kindness should not be too much to ask for.
