No makeup, tired faces, even managed to drag our big brother into the chaos because we still had to get that memory click! 😉
No fancy celebrations for Christmas this year. Instead, I spent the entire day with my little one, with almost zero screen time for both of us. We cooked together, opened presents, did some crafts, had a little fight, made up afterwards, cleaned up the mess at home, and shared countless kisses. It was simple, yet my heart is full. 🧿 As I look back on the day, I’m reminded that it’s moments like these that pass by in an instant, and we can’t get them back…It made me realize that, no matter what we do, we should prioritize what truly matters! Why do we often work ourselves to till we get burnt out, missing out on precious moments with loved ones? Let’s not forget to balance our lives, slow down, and enjoy the present ♥️. It’s not always about taking aesthetic pictures or seeking external validation. Let’s remind ourselves of what truly matters: love and connection✨ 📝 A gentle reminder to myself and to you: Let’s slow down, appreciate the little things, and focus on what brings us joy and fulfilment. #Christmas2024
5 years back… I was asked to “settle” Good family, a daughter, house, cars, vacations, jewellery, bags – You have it all. Why don’t you just settle? Why do you want more? These were the questions that many people asked me. And on one side there was my dad who asked me – you are after all a 27 year old. Who do you think is going to listen to you? Throughout my life I have done things for everyone – being a good daughter, the perfect sister, the responsible student at school and college, the loving wife, the caring daughter in law and a doting mother. I was a big time people-pleaser as well. I wanted to be liked. If anyone mistook me ,I went above and beyond my way and took effort to explain myself. So to take action beyond the criticism that I faced while I chose a new career path wasn’t easy at all. But this time, I was determined to not give up. Not give in. I was fixed to go for it. And I did. It was hard, challenging, frustrating. There were days where I thought I should give up. But something within me didn’t want to. I fell down multiple times. I cried hard. I got my heart broken. But at the end of the day, there will always be at least one student sending me a text saying that her life has become better and she’s happier because of me. And that was all that I needed to not give up and keep moving forward. Was the pain and hard times worth it? ABSOLUTELY 100% Today, not just my students but their families come forward when they meet me and share their joy on seeing the difference I’ve made in their daughter/wife/sister. Standing in front of an audience of 3000 and sharing my journey was a surreal experience and it was a testament to all my hard-work and resilience. 8.2.2025 – a day that would forever be etched in my heart. And beyond all of this, I know one thing for sure and that is , this is just the beginning. To every women who’s reading this, keep going because what youll end up achieving is surely going to be bigger than you ever thought you could! Keep going. Keep pushing-beyond the self-doubt, the fear & the criticism. Happy Women’s Day, Queen 👑
