Maria Pinna Instagram – A Maria é uma paciente querida que, há alguns anos, chegou ao consultório sem muita perspectiva de se livrar da endometriose. O histórico de cirurgias e tratamentos alternativos já tinha desgastado seu corpo e, principalmente, seu emocional.
Como sempre digo, um bom cirurgião é aquele que, mais do que dominar a técnica cirúrgica, sabe quando não indicar a cirurgia. Para isso, é preciso unir o olhar clínico e o olhar humano para cada caso, cada história, cada pessoa que procura ajuda.
Traçamos uma caminhada focada em tratar a dor que a incomodava e controlar o crescimento da doença, até que ela recuperasse a confiança e a qualidade de vida para, enfim, retirar as lesões de seu corpo.
Me realiza muito ouvir esse tipo de relato, saber que uma mulher vive de forma melhor porque encontrou aquilo que precisava: cuidado e acolhimento.
Meu trabalho e meu desejo é que todas as mulheres que têm endometriose possam ter o suporte de um especialista e uma estratégia de tratamento personalizada.

Maria is a dear patient who, a few years ago, came to my office with little hope of freeing herself from endometriosis. Her history of surgeries and alternative treatments had already worn down her body and, most importantly, her emotional well-being.
As I always say, a good surgeon is someone who, beyond mastering surgical techniques, knows when not to recommend surgery. For that, it is essential to combine clinical insight with a human perspective for each case, each story, and each person seeking help.
We mapped out a journey focused on treating the pain that was bothering her and controlling the progression of the disease until she regained her confidence and quality of life, allowing her to finally remove the lesions from her body.
It is incredibly fulfilling for me to hear stories like this—to know that a woman is living a better life because she found what she truly needed: care and support.
