Statistically, 70% of women in prison across England and Wales have experienced domestic abuse. Via National Prison Radio and with the help of friends like Mel B, we hope to encourage and empower more women to access the support they need and deserve.

Mel received an Honorary Doctorate at @leedsbeckettofficial for her social justice activist work raising awareness of domestic abuse issues and is a Patron of @womens_aid. Mel also completed the Trauma Informed Care Module at Leeds Beckett University 🎓
