Back in August 2024, I got to direct a sexy, twisted, little comedy called @bootiesfilm—written by and starring the dangerously multitalented @savegraciecanaan (she does it all, and if she doesn’t know how she’ll teach herself in one night). Then @ashzukerman jumped in and once again proved he’s a future legend, probably with a statue somewhere already being sculpted.

Then @sophielilla, @lilg75, @izapalindrome and many more came in, and somehow we got this thing nearly edited—until we handed it off to my beloved @jhnelson, who polished it like the unsung hero of post-production he is.

Enter @badxsneakers & @c_h_r_i_s__n_e_l_s_o_n with music that could make a rock blush, and @benchesneauaudio with the cleanest sound mix I’ve ever had the privilege to witness. And color by @yerrekke at @millchannelcolour. These guys made it feel like we didn’t shoot this thing in 2 days for no money.

This short film changed the way I think about my work, money, and the culture that keeps us trading our values for cash. I was so inspired by the dancers I met and by Gracie’s insane talent and deep well of kindness.
So many more incredible people made this happen. This is all very nice.
