Molly McCook Instagram – I never get to sing anymore!! It’s so crazy how vulnerable it can feel when you take time away. I am so grateful to have John always encouraging me. It’s so safe to record music with him at home, but getting on stage again feels so scary sometimes. But it’s really beautiful to feel those nerves and get past them and then be rewarded with pride.. I miss being on stage. I actually almost cried when i walked backstage for soundcheck literally just because of the SMELL. I’ve done soooo many shows in bar theaters etc over the years, and to walk backstage of a REAL theatre felt insanely nostalgic and special. Like I was reconnecting with my inner child somehow.
Anyway! It was a really beautiful night raising money for schools effected by the LA fires. My city, my home. People are still heartbroken and suffering. It may seem better but please continue to help in any way you can. It’s going to be a long road ❤️‍🩹
